Ganapati Studios celebrates color and fun with a playful visual mix of cultures and decades.
Their line of greeting cards, journals, magnets, and bags are created using elements from our collection of vintage paper ephemera. They love antique paper and the art of collage; which gives them a chance to play with fantastic old paper goods, coloring and rearranging them according to contemporary sensibilities. Phil and Sarah Brazeau both have backgrounds in painting and enjoy the immediacy of the collage process.
Ganapati is located in Seattle. Making a conscious effort to conserve resources and produce almost all our goods in the local area, they create as little environmental impact as possible. Additionally, they are committed to donating 10% of their profits to groups that focus on making the world community a better place. The name Ganapati is one of the names of the elephant-faced deity Ganesha, who signifies wisdom and good fortune, and is known as the remover of obstacles. Om Maha Ganesh!
